| गुनासो/उजुरीको संक्षिप्त विवरण | It has come to notice that hospitals such as Birat Medical College, Biratnagar; Morang Co-operative Hospital, Biratnagar; and Nobel Medical College, Biratnagar, which provide services under the Health Insurance Board, have been requiring patients to obtain referrals on a weekly basis. For individuals with chronic conditions such as hypertension, diabetes mellitus, chronic kidney disease, or mental illness—who require continuous care throughout the year—this results in the need to obtain referrals more than 12 times annually for the same condition. This practice imposes an unnecessary financial burden on patients and places additional strain on primary health care centers like Rani Hospital, which are already understaffed. In light of this, I respectfully request the concerned authorities to investigate the matter and take appropriate action as deemed necessary. I look forward to a prompt and just response. |
